I thought you hated lists?
No other device has so cheapened food “journalism” in Miami as The List.
Ugh. They’re awful.
Lists abound because data analytics has proven that people love to click on them, so editors push them in a race to the bottom for clicks.
So why, in the name of all that is authentic, do I have two lists on this site?
Because sometimes people want to know where I like to eat or drink coffee and they don’t want to read every single piece on every single chef or barista.
I promise, there’s more to this site than the two lists.
And if I’m lucky they’ll hide out in the background, where they belong.
